Detroit
In the summer of 2017, I traveled to Detroit MI to photograph urban decay and abandoned buildings. I have always been fascinated with abandoned buildings and how beautiful they become when nature starts to take over. I also traveled to The Heidelberg Project, a community art project that uses items that are discarded and turns them into public art.
I truly enjoyed my time in Detroit and was captivated by the resilience of the city and beauty of its history.
All photographs are taken with a Canon AE-1 and 35mm Kodak Tri X film.
